Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The festive afternoon tea was amazing. Lots of variety. I particularly the mulled apple and rhubarb drink. The young waitress was super friendly and attentive and a real asset. The only slight criticism is it would have been nice to have more savoury options

We stopped here on our way to Looe. Lovely place for a walk and the cafe serves very good food. We had a very tasty Lental Dhal served with excellent fresh bread for lunch. Enjoyed it so much we are heading back for breakfast tomorrow....Not many tables inside so on a cold/wet day you might want to book ahead.More

We came here for lunch in September & it was really yummy - 2 different filled wraps, like burritos. They were enormous! Came back here yesterday again for lunch & got the last available table. It was busy as there was a large group in,...but the waitress warned there would be a 40minute wait because of this which was fine. We had Indian potato cakes, brie toastie with squash, beetroot & other delicious bits inside & a burrito with curried cauliflower, mint raita & other bits too. All were fantastic. They have such a great range of vegan options & it's so tasty. Finished with an orange & cardomom cake (also vegan). So glad this is open out of tourist season too.More

Hands down the best veggie breakfast around, staff are amazing and polite. I'd recommended the toasted marshmallow shot in the coffee 🤌🤌 If I lived close by I'd love to work here, keep doing what your doing.

We had a wet and windy walk and were in need of hearty food which is exactly what we got! We all ordered different things and they all looked and tasted fantastic. I had the dhal, it was delicious! Coffee and cake after was lovely,...and the service and staff were all great too. Really enjoyed our visit, highly recommended 👍🏼More

What a delightful find. A vegetarian/vegan cafe (but serves bacon with breakfasts I believe) in such a beautiful place! Our lunch was delicious - full of different flavours. The service was good and the staff friendly and welcoming. Thank you - we’ll be back.

I encourage you to go out of your way to visit this cafe if in the area - and if not, plan a trip to Cornwall to take in this amazing fayre. A very good selection of vegan cakes and hot food dishes amongst veggie...and meat options. Very fresh, organic and local food. I had mustardy mushrooms on sourdough with a kale pesto for breakfast (new menu from today) and it was delicious. Cakes, coffees and other drinks all totally delicious. The atmosphere in the cafe was wonderful. Great staff - friendly and lovely vibe in between the team and to customers. Clearly a very well known and loved cafe in the area. I was here to paddleboard for a couple of days and was amazed, impressed and in awe of this cafe in all fronts. Truly award winning. Thank you Olive & Co. I will most certainly be back. You made me feel so welcome and I am delighted by the full lunchbox of cakes I will be taking home with me tomorrow - along with some of the local artists work on sale in the display area. A total gem in this magical landscape. Well worth a visit.More
