It's hard to believe that this is the same pub that has received some pretty poor comments, as this was not the case with us. The pub has had a facelift since we were last here and it's really bright and modern with a warm...More

Excellent food but not for those with miniscule appetites. But for a hungry 13 year old with hollow legs - she would recommend the fish and chips.

We holidayed a short walk from this pub so it became a regular haunt, as it does every year that we visit the area. The manager even recognised us from last year, which we found impressive! Drinks are on the expensive side, but the pub...More

Came here Saturday night for dinner, food was lovely and the service was pretty good. The only thing that seemed to be the problem was that there seemed to be some tension between what I'm presuming was the manager and the waiting/cooking staff. The other...More

We have been here a few times and it never disappoints. It is a great family pub. Good choice of food and a lovely safe play area for the children. We will definitely be back.

There is a boutique caravan park with static caravans and cabins for hire. Its walking distance and would provide good family accommodation. Whilst I haven't stayed there its modern clean and well laid out.
