Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A really excellent village pub serving local ciders (and all the usual drinks too) in a friendly atmosphere. The food is fantastic. We had fish and chips and a homity pie with walnut salad. The fish and chips was hot, fresh and crisp and the...homity pie was yummy especially with the contrast of the salad. Well worth the visit and we will go back if in the area again.More

We enjoyed a large, family birthday lunch in the upstairs function room. Lloyd and Kirsty were really attentive during the planning. The meal preorders meant the 3 course meal for 21 went smoothly. The room was really nicely set up and we were able to...come early and add some extra decorations. Nothing was too much trouble and we were able to use the room for the whole afternoon. The food was excellent, the service was really fabulous and the whole experience was very positive and helped us create some really happy memories. Thank you 😊More

Best to telephone them and then you can have definitive answers. Alternatively, as you are only down the road, call in, or passing, as you visit Plymouth via the Torpoint ferry.
