We have eaten here several times now, and it consistently produces first class food and service. Never fussy, but always polite and friendly, A very good menu at a reasonable price, perfectly cooked. What else could you ask for.

Our third visit here in about 5 or 6 years - we aren’t local. I don’t really understand why this place isn’t rated even higher than it is. Michelin inspectors cant be far away? It deserves something as the cookery and service is fantastic.

Lovely restaurant - high quality food. Menu is simple with four choices across three courses, but the food was truly excellent with each course tasting wonderful and beautifully prepared. The service was very attentive and we were very impressed with the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Excellent. Just right for a special occasion. £120 for two but this is fine dining and excellent value for money. If you pay top dollar you expect high quality and you get it here. Deserves a Michelin star.

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was by far one of the best dining experience we've ever had. We called in advance to say that we are vegetarians and the result on the evening was wonderful. No boring pasta or risotto...More

Hi, Its more for adults and a more quiet more intimate meal. Not for Kids in my opinion. You want to go to the Rock Inn (if they behave inside) or Cracking Crab at Polzeath, large outdoor area by the car park

No it's not the sort of place to let the kids run around. If you want that, try the Rising Sun at Altarnun (just the Davidstow side of Altarnun) which has great food but an outside area for the kids to run around and a... More
