Visited the café for lunch and really good food served, sat outside and fantastic views to sit and admire when having a coffee or waiting for food to arrive.

There was quite a party of us, children to us old codgers. Therefore a quick and simple menu was required. The service was quick, the food was generally good ( only one of our party did not enjoy her food choice ). You have to remember, this is a family oriented beach cafe. Simple food, simple facilities and a great... More

Started the journey at Hessenford and walked down the Otter trail. The path is a little boggy. You have to mobile, but it's a flat walk of 4.5 miles from hessenford to Seaton and back. The cafe at Seaton is a nice halfway point for food and drink. If you go the Seaton to Hessenford and back then you can... More

This place could have such potential if some thought was put into it - it's very dirty outside and the people that work there all seem very young and uninterested. It's a very Cornish type of place churning out the same old food and drink. Only good thing is it's dog friendly and so is the beach. Other than that... More

Called into Seaton today for a drink and a bite to eat and the staff were very friendly and helpful from giving me a tray for my drinks to opening the door to go out. Many thanks for your great service guys keep up the good work.

Visited on a murky weekday afternoon. Not looking like the sort of place that I was going to be right in expecting much....I was right. Ordered - cheesey chips, mushroom soup and an orange juice. Cheap concentrated orange juice, could be better. Cheesy chips should be that not cheese with chips. Melted in a bowl would be nice. Think that's... More

We enjoyed an all day breakfast here recently, together with a large dog and sat in the conservatory, which is designated for dogs. We selected our choice by using the excellent system of ticking the required options on the slips available. On a betere day weatherwise we would have sat outside, here you can enjoy the coast line between Rame... More

You can't beat a bacon buttie and a mug of hot chocolate after a bracing walk along the beach or an amble up the river valley to feed the fish. Excellent breakfasts, all cooked to order and amazing views. If it's chilly, and you want to sit outside, the woodburner's a very welcome addition!

Dropped into cafe late in afternoon for a coffee and piece of cake. Both were delicious, the location is what really makes this cafe. We were able to enjoy our bite with stunning sunset by the sea. It's so worth a visit whatever the weather.

This could be so nice but there is an awful sort of shack attached to the main building which makes the place look very run down and uninviting. The toilets are outside and leave much to be desired! The cafe itself smells of fried food, very off putting when you walk through the door and gives the place a 'transport... More
