We came here on a trip down to Cornwall for Sunday lunch and was left hugely dissapointed in the food! Firstly I'd like to say the service was excellent, they were friendly, efficient and helpful. The food on the other hand was pretty atrocious for...the price! The beef was nigh on inedible, I genuinly don't think I've ever had beef so tough! The horseradish sauce was comedic - they've tried to be fancy and do horseradish cream but actually just tasted like cream with no hint of horseradish; we had to ask for some proper horseradish. The Gravy was almost tasteless and required an awful lot of seasoning and the potatoes were a bit cardboardy! Unfortunately wouldn't go back.More

Have just returned from a delicious Sunday roast on Easter Day at the peterville. The staff were wonderful and catered so well to all our needs for kids/babies with buggy’s and parents alike especially as we were a large party. Great cocktails, fantastic food and...wonderful staff. We always make sure to get a meal in here when we are down as they are so accommodating. Side note: We had vegans and lactose/gluten free requirements with us and there was something for everyone. Thankyou all again, we will be back when we are back!More

Instantly welcoming and friendly staff. Despite arriving at 2.40pm they willingly served us the most delicious baked camembert and fresh fish fillets. Beautiful food presentation, too. Great selection of beers. Highly recommended, especially after a dip in the sea or a blowy walk on the...cliffs.More

We booked on impulse on Saturday for Sunday lunch and we’re not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions very generous. The staff were attentive, polite and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone for a Sunday lunch but note, you will...always need a walk down to the beach afterwards.More

We had been looking forward to visiting this establishment for a while but from Mevagissey it’s quite a trek, however we finally made it for Sunday lunch. The visit got off to a promising start with a lovely table by the fire, attentive staff, a...very palatable glass of red wine and nice hot plates for the food, unfortunately the roast was let down by a couple of components. Far from the ‘roasted - rare’ beef promised on the menu when I revealed the meat I initially thought I had been served pork by mistake as it was extremely pallid in appearance and though edible was not particularly tasty to eat and certainly not resembling the succulent meat displayed on the website. The roast potatoes were very leathery and difficult to cut and seemed as if they may have been deep fried or not suitable for roasting, however the rest of the vegetables were cooked to perfection. We finished off with a pudding which was also delicious so such a shame that a couple of the main components of the meal proved so disappointing.More

I would recommend booking everything, although the Green room cafe does not require booking. Peterville, Tap house etc don't risk not booking especially if it's an evening meal
