This was our second time here. After having a lovely lunch here a couple of months ago in this quaint inn, we booked Sunday lunch with some friends. It was dreadful. Our friends had a roast. The meat was stringy and tough, the potatoes were...hard, as were the vegetables. We both had fish pie. What a joke. A couple of miniscule pieces of fish with lumps of hard boiled egg. I do not like eggs or expect them in fish pie! Once again the accompanying vegetables were rock hard. We won't be back for Sunday lunch again.More

Returned to Mithian to stay in a cottage for a week - part the reason we keep returning is the Miners Arm and yet again it didn’t disappoint. Anouska, Andy and their team are the most welcoming and efficient team. We ate there many times...in the week from traditional Sunday lunch (recommend the mixed meat option) to many evening meals off the main and specials board. All spectacular. Good drinks choice as well - very well kept real ale and a fantastic gin selection. Can’t wait for my next visitMore

Super village pub, we went there on the off chance we could get some food, welcomed at the door and taken to a spare table, drinks arrived. The menu was up market pub grub at very reasonable prices, my friends had Fish and Cup, I...had a double burger with chilli sauce, massive and superb. Really recommendedMore

We booked a table for 8 on Sunday evening and everything was great. We had been asked to confirm our main course earlier in the day, which saved us a lot of time when we arrived. A mixed menu of traditional Sunday roast and other...firm favourites worked well for our group. Dogs welcomed too. The service was really positive and would definitely recommend - everyone enjoyed what they had ordered and overall felt we had real value for moneyMore

Visited whilst on holiday with our 4 year old son. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was so delicious (I had the blue cheese burger) I ate it before I could take a photo. Would highly recommend.

Booked a table for Saturday for my partners birthday, the staff went above and beyond from the small decoration on the table, to the amazing waitresses. All staff were pleasant and couldn't do enough for us. The food was fantastic and super tasty and always...a great range of drinks. Highly recommend and cone back every year.More
