If there is one thing Lizard is short of it's a good bakery. Several shops all selling different brands of ice cream but not a sarnie to be had anywhere! Aaarrgh! So I popped into the Regent, reluctantly because it caters to the coach parties and the outside looks a bit "kiss me quick Blackpool" and yes, I am one... More

First visit to eat here last weekend and loved this place. Lovely friendly staff, our meal was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Clean and very pleasant and got very busy after we arrived but our meal was worth the wait😋 Thankyou, we will be back 10/10 xxx

Asked for 2 cheese pasties and 1 steak. Got 2 steak and 1 cheese and were told that's all they had. Someone came to check we were telling the truth when we told them wed received the wrong pasty! God job we weren't vegetarian! Then to top it off, a hair was pulled out of one of the pasties! Bought... More

The cakes on display looked amazing. However, when in Cornwall, must try the pasties. We did. They were ok, nothing special. Too much onion for our taste. Others would say just right. It's down to personal taste. There is a car park, for patrons only.

Honestly we looked at the Regent and it was not top of our list for Cream Teas - BUT how wrong we were!! The staff were pleasant, helpful and appropriately 'chatty' with all customers and each other which created a great atmosphere; the readiness to swap in other types of tea was welcome and the Cream Tea itself was delicious.... Great if you want "cafe" type food. Lots of choice on the menu. Big choice of puddings. I had the sirloin steak but it tasted like it had been in a frying pan that had been used all day long. After much recommendation to eat there I have to say I didn't enjoy it and would not chose to eat... More

The food is cooked for you, except the Cornish Pasties, but they are good too. The chips are very good. They have a nice selection of sweets. I think the cakes are home made. If your in Lizard Town this is a good place to eat.
