stumbled across this gorgeous alpine style bar when wandering around the back of Thredbo village. Enjoyed some lovely wines and the calamari tapas and stupidly decided to leave and eat our main course at the main hotel which was awful. Will definitely revisit this gorgeous little bar and try more canapes!!

Came along 2 nights in a row, the food and service was that good. The menu is small, yet they do each item very well, and its diverse enough. They also have nice wines and tap beer. The surrounds and view are really lovely and quiet. It has a nice outdoor area which was perfect in summer. Our hostess Marni... More

Berntis Restaurant was one of only a few opened last night. Very happy with the selection of our 3 tapas dishes. Nicely presented, extremely tasty. Would definitely go there again. Meal a 10, staff need to be more interactive. Lyn

Ok down for the festival (blues) again Berntis again, have a slow beer, listened to the superb Phil Manning play and sing the blues like no other. The set finishes we chat briefly to Phil the place empties, and like Anthony Bourdain, I am "hungry for more" so we quickly grab a table and I order two Curry of the... More

My partner and I visited Brent's in January as it was promoting itself as tapas bar. We were very disappointed in the offerings - expected a greater variety of shared plates rather than the olives, crackers and pate on offer. We had the curry which was pleasant but it would not tempt me back again.

It is okay to have a snack but not more. We had a meal and left hungry. The service were eager and loud. Not our cup of tea.

It has become tradition that we have drinks and bar snacks at Bernti's on the night we arrive in Thredbo, and we've usually been lucky with the weather. This year was no exception. It was perfect. They've re-furnished the outside area and if looks good. I don't usually like high bar tables and chairs but these were comfort. The drinks... More

We dropped in for a quick drink the other night. The service was friendly, the tapas was tasty and the prices were reasonable. Oh, and the view up to the mountain was great. Well done.

Good variety of tapas options available at this vibrant bar and grill. Ordered at the bar and ate indoors as all the outdoors tables were taken. Buzzy pub style atmosphere, noisy and fun. Relaxed dining. Favourite dish of the night was the Beef and Black Bean Quesadilla.

Was pretty disappointed with our experience here. It was relatively busy so we were told it would be a 30 min wait for the tapas, which we were happy with. We ordered drinks and took a seat in the outdoor area to enjoy the view. 1hr later our first of three dishes arrived. We waited another 20min for the 2nd... More
