For years, I had somewhat of a mixed opinion of this establishment after seeing its busy/open deck/wild side during Fort Days. We visited during a cabin stay at a nearby state park in January, and it couldn't have been nicer. The little dining room was cozy, quiet, and nice. The food was excellent, the drinks were good, and I absolutely... More

Fond memories of great food brought us back for dinner tonight, but we left disappointed. Lackluster service, all the veggies were undercooked and pretty tasteless and prices were too high for the quality of the food. Meatloaf, salmon and burgers were good but the side dishes and service just weren't. ☹️

our most recent visit to the tavern was during Fort Ligonier days so understandably they were PACKED. They were taking names outside and we waited about 30 minutes for a table around 6:00 right as it started to slow down, there were several empty tables. Our wires took a very long time taking our orders, getting our drinks etc. She... More

Came in today for drinks and an appetizer. Service was great, appetizer (fried zucchini) was so so. My father told me his French onion soup was very good as well. I'd definitely come back.

We went to the Ligonier Tavern today for a midafternoon meal. My husband got the meatloaf, and I ordered the Freedom Chicken. My husband said his meal was one of the best he's eaten. My chicken, mashed potatoes, and cooked vegetables were a "10" in my book. Shawn was our cook. Outstanding job. Chrissy, our server, did a wonderful job... More

I came here with my husband and mother and father in-law this past Saturday and was highly disappointed with the service I received. We were very respectful to the waitress in letting her know that we were in somewhat of a hurry and asked her if they would be able to accommodate us even though they were busy. She rudely... More

We are in Greensburg, PA to attend a Mass of Remembrance for my mother who died at 108 yrs. old this past April, and for all those who passed away in the last year and were buried from the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral Parish. My mother loved Ligonier, and especially loved the chicken, cranberry, walnut salad at the Ligonier Tavern. In... More

Stopped by the Ligonier Tavern while walking around the town. I had the most delicious Apple and Blue Cheese salad with beef tips prepared by the chef, Bobby, and served by our lovely waitress, Chrissy.

Here now, have been waiting 25 minutes for the waitress to get our drink order... Might leave before we even get to try the food; absolutely ridiculous.

Thank Natalie R
