The drinks were delicious and the male bartender was great. He was super friendly (but not overly), helpful, and made great drinks

I used to live in California. This place captures the authentic flavors of true Mexican restaurants from Southern California. Nice size portions and the head cook, Dwight, he is making it happen! My sister-in-law has severe food allergies and Dwight put her at ease, telling her that he has a separate station for patrons with food allergies. We all had... More

Our first impression of this restaurant was the unfriendly, uninterested attitude of the hostess, but then our waiter (Patrick?) came by and more than made up for her. He was quick with our orders, happy to help with any explanations, and generally just a cheerful fellow. The burrito was a little dry, but the food was okay in general.

Food was not freshly made. Burrito was barely warm, meaning it was made ahead and sitting out. Taco shell salad was similar. Greens were warm and/or wilted, chicken tough and neither hot nor cold! Certainly not an authentic Mexican restaurant! No mole sauces on any entree dishes that I could see. Only bright spot was our server Patrick. It was... More

Very good food, nice atmosphere, servers excellent and very accommodating. Bar area which is at front of restaurant tends to be extremely noisy while diners trying to enjoy meal. Seems mostly interested in drinkers, not eaters. Needs to be handicap accessible - handicap/disabled like Hispanic/Mexican food too !!

Went here with our 17 year old nephew and 10 year old son. Three of us had the tacos and they were delicious! Very nice, fresh margaritas. Plus, they were very accommodating with our 10 year old picky eater. Will go back!

The service was bad, the food was bad, and the overall atmosphere was bad. We started with a pitcher of margaritas that was all ice. We asked for more chips & salsa but never got any (we weren't being greedy - there were 5 of us and we received the same amount as the tables with only 2 people!). The... More

To be honest I have not eaten anything but the free chips and salsa ( green and red). That said I have been here for several Friday Happy hours and the $7 sangria which is very tasty (I would pay more). The bartenders are attentive often asking if you like your drink or can get you more chips.

If I had the option, this would be a 3.5 star review…I lean upwards because service was great (Meredith was our server, hopefully you get an incentive for positive comments on TA). Wife and I came on a Friday night, Hostess informed us of a 20minute wait; this was expected as we didn’t have a reservation. We walked around the... More

Mexican food is mine and my husbands favorite cuisine. The atmosphere in diego's is on par, as is the drink selection. The nachos were awesome! But the two stars goes for the entrees which were just missing something, and simply pretty bland and overpriced for the quality. I ordered enchiladas in red sauce and my husband ordered some time of... More
