This place used to be a very good place to eat, BUT the last 3 times we were there we were very disappointed! The broasted chicken was old, dried out and fried too hard. The french fries were also not good. sweet potato french fries were little peices and the oil tasted old. The meatloaf was ok but no more!... More

I love this place! We travel out of our way just for this place (there is not much around the area) and I am always pleased after each visit. Great comfort style food with generous serving sizes and all at a reasonable price. The decor isn't much to look at but the food and service keeps this family coming back... More

The service we had during a dinner visit was most excellent. The food was tasty, too! I recommend the crab cakes.

We go 4wheeling over at Rausch Creek and the Red Lion is a must do most nights we are in town. Food is EXCELLENT, the staff is superior, and the prices are right out of 1950. I can't recommend them enough! Make sure to try the battered pork chops and the broasted chicken!

Good food some of it quite nostalgic. Old favorites from childhood. Everything was fresh!!, including the corn. It was fresh off the cob. The best thing was the fresh strawberry pie. Whole strawberries, a pleasant gel like binder, not too sweet, flaky crust. It was wonderful. I'd love the recipe. The service was professional, attentive but never intrusive. To complete... More

My wife and I had dinner tonight at the Red Lion Restaurant in Pine Grove. The food is not fancy, exotic or unique. What is is, however, is good, home cooked and delicious food of generous proportions. You will not leave hungry after dining here. If you want fancy schmancy, this is not for you. If you want value and... More

In some ways gone downhill but improved in others. Menu changes have taken away much of the PENNA DUTCH food I always enjoyed. On the other hand more of a bar menu has taken its place. Burgers are excellent and large. Still family atmosphere and beer is served. Crossing the road from the parking lot can be dangerous. Best baked... More

This is a local restaurant for us and we eat here at least once a week, often more. The daily specials are great... Especially the chicken pot pie! Try the wings, subs or pizza. Truthfully, you can't go wrong. Large portions at a price you can definitely afford. With their own bakery, a banquet room and a separate bar, it's... More
