We visit this place in a short visit to Pittsburgh. Food was excellent and the service very fine. Near to the restaurant you find a park with live music and many other activities for childs and adults. Excellent

No steps I saw, not sure what that referred to...I can't say for sure, but we went off hours on a week day and it was still reasonably busy....I bet it's busy on a Sunday...just a guess.

I don't believe that they have a gluten-free menu but they can accommodate gluten free requests.
