Visited here with a group as it seemed like a novel spot and came recommended by a local. The setting is awesome and we all took great photos drinking in a converted old church. The beer selection was great and I really enjoyed both IPAs...More

Beautiful former church converted into a brewery. Wonderful food, atmosphere, and drinks. Something for everyone. Beer sampling for my hubby, fresh brewed birch beer for the kiddos and great wine for me.

I always enjoy my visits here. The interior is simply stunning and spectacular with the significant features of the original church (including the giant wooden doors), still intact despite its conversion to a brew pub. Brewing equipment is beautifully displayed in what was the alter...More

Okay, if you are a church goer you may have mixed feelings about the beer being made at the alter! But once you settle in, it was a fun place to dine.

Loved the idea of a brewery in an old church. The space was fun and funky. Beer was good. We tried one appetizer and it was good. Not a place I would have to visit again but certainly not a bad experience.

Great atmosphere, architecture. Stained glass windows. Beers ok, not my favorites. IPA was good. Definitely worth a visit.

Just felt a littile too sacrilegious. Not that I'm super religious at all. Maybe just guilt for not being in a church for so long! We had a good time though and would recommend it.

The Church Brew Works is a really unique bar/restaurant, as it's located into an old church! AND you get good, affordable, home-brewed beer there? Count me in 10 times outta 10! Absolute must-see!

Unique restaurant converted from an old Polish Catholic Church. Restaurant divided into bar section (full bar and microbrew beer) with seating, and main dining. Front pulpit area contains beer production and a wood fire for pizza. Food is good, pizza is very good. Daily Pittsburgh...More
