If you're looking for BBQ ribs, this is one of the best choices in the area. I don't eat ribs often, but the sauce choices are very good and the food is delicious with decent service.

My family has been going here for years, and I finally decided to write a review. The food is always good and the service never below standards. The staff is always polite and friendly. If you're looking for a nice evening with great BBQ I suggest here!

The place seems nice but it isn't. The food is really bellow average. The brisket was hard and had no flavour whatsoever. The service was barely OK. The price was high compare to the quality. It's more a bar than a restaurant.

We have been looking for BBQ around Pittsburgh for awhile and have been coming up short. On a whim, we thought we would check out this franchise and we were pleased. My dining partner had the Double Trouble of Ribs; 1/3 rack of regular Baby Back Ribs and 1/3 rack of their Smoked St. Louis Ribs. He really liked the... More

Having lived in the Pittsburgh area for many years, husband introduced me to Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill. Having recently moved from Tucson to southwest Pennsylvania, we had to start with nachos. Warm tortilla chips were generously covered in diced tomatoes, onion and melted cheese. Husband asked that the jalapeños be served on the side, as was a large... More

Nice atmosphere. Great service. Very accommodating. Good food and drinks. I asked to be seated somewhere more private and they found a booth for me with no one around and even when people started filling up the place, they never sat near me. That was great! Our server was very nice and helpful with menu selections. The nachos appetizer was... More

Large rustic dinning spaces and sports bar in center. Service was good. Triple rum drink was more like juice with little rum. There are a variety of BBQ sauces on each table. We loved the Kansas City and Carolina sauce. The spicy Chipotle was good too. The deep fried smoked wings with the house sauce were excellent. The tender smokey... More

I am not a burger person, so you have to make something very special to make me happy. I visited this place twice during our stay in Pittsburgh last weekend and I was amazed both times with the flavor and the creativity of both dishes. It was the best burger I had in a long time.

Our waiter was marvelous and completely a joy to have. The food I ordered a steak medium, mashed potatoes and onion rings. My potatoes and onion rings were fabulous, but my steak was cold in the middle and bloody. It had an okay flavor but I was turned off from it being completely cold.
