I admit, I was skeptical as when restaurants offer holiday meals the service is typically slow, food is dry or lukewarm, or the place runs out of food. Not so with the Lion’s Pride. We each had a turkey (both white and dark meat) dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing (filling) baked pineapple, cranberries, etc. We had to ask... More

We wanted to go to Great America Saloon but it was a 1 hour wait, so we tried out Lion's Pride and got seated right away. I'm not sure why more people weren't here. Our server promptly got our drinks and warm rolls for the table. I had the special - mac n' cheese and stewed tomatoes and it was... More

They have a nice choice of breakfast food and it's a great place to meet friends for breakfast. They have plenty of seating and are efficient at keeping things moving. They have great pumpkin pancakes in the fall with cream cheese spread. Very good. Also good omelets and home fries.Their lunch and dinner menu is wide and varied with York... More

We had a late breakfast here yesterday and it was delicious. Both of us had #5, a sampler. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. The establishment is very clean and friendly wait staff.

This was my Great-Grandparent's restaurant when it was Warner's. I love that the Lions Pride kept a few of the vintage signs around. I especially love that they continue with the Warner's mark of excellence in food and service. Coming here when in town visiting family and eating a CMP is always a MUST!!!

Anything on the breakfast menu will not disappoint. That's because there are so many things to choose from. My favorite is the standard 2 eggs over easy with crispy home fries with fried onions and crispy scrapple. Lunch and dinner are just average. Do next door to Great American Saloon for great dinners.

I had the #1: two eggs any style, with toast and home fries. All were typical diner food, prepared well, but nothing special. I appreciated being able to pay a little extra and substitute rye bread for white bread toast. It's nice to have toast with some substance. My friend loves Lions Pride, partly because he's been going there for... More

Great Reuben sandwich with lots of thick chips for $6.75 - can't beat it. Our server (Aimee) was fabulous and we had our supper for under $18.00. Our fellow diners were typical Red Lion people...the parking lot was crowded and as we looked for a space, a lady rapped on our window to let us know she was leaving. I... More
