OMG, what a disaster! I've been there 1 time before and had a nice dinner that is why I gave 3... otherwise would be 1.... Valentines dinner was a complete mess. Our appetizers instead of cold came out warm (looks like were already prepared ahead of time and stayed outside way too long). We sent back the salad but got... More

I saw online that this restaurant had excellent reviews, read some of them but maybe should have read more. Went there for dinner with my girlfriend Saturday night 2/11/17. When we first walked in I noticed the place was nicely decorated and they had a singer singing and piano player, and I thought oh this is loud in the front... More

Scott, Thanks for your review. The Noise Issue has been a " Pick your Poison" problem for some time. An overwhelming large percentage of our diners enjoy the entertainment . We recently tried to address the issue with sound Baffles suspended from the ceiling and that helped some but obviously not enough. I will strongly consider unplugging several speakers to... More

Food and service superb but noise level made it uncomfortable to carry on a conversation. Seems to be a pattern although good is excellent

Let me say first that the food was still good. We have been here a handful of times and the food has been excellent, but our most recent visit bordered on embarrassing. We had friends in from Italy and I had raved about the place. So when I made our reservation, I should have realized they were trying to fit... More

The food and service is still excellent, but they have to add some sound dampening since the noise had gotten deafening.

UVA spent $15,000.00 on Sound dampeners, Noise levels has been reduced dramatically since last year. This sound Problem has no solution 98% of the people enjoy the entertainment, so much they only come come to UVA when we have a singer. I would highly recommend you request a table away from the singer and we will do all we can... More

We had dinner with 2 friends that we hadn't seen in over 1 year. The food was pricey but very good. There was a singer there. We had to scream to have any conversation. The music was way too loud making it impossible to have normal conversation. It wasn't pleasant.

We had our annual Christmas lunch here and it was just perfect. The food was tasty, fresh, and beautiful in presentation. The service was just right: attentive but not intrusive at all. From the salad to the entree to the dessert - a perfect holiday lunch.

Uva's has been remodeled and is beautiful inside and now has some sound dampening too. Food is wonderful, service is impeccable and the hostess Paula is radiant. Try the gnocchi with ground veal or the Lagostinos. Can't go wrong!

Outstanding find in the suburbs of Philadelphia! The menu had lots of wonderful choices and all of our entrees were delicious. The wait staff were very courteous and friendly. Although the restaurant was bustling and a bit loud, the acoustics are such that we could still have a conversation without yelling. Menu pricing was very good. The BYOB policy is... More

We found this surprising restaurant tucked away in a shopping center. The service was great. I had a tast butternut squash soup and my wife enjoyed 8 clams casino. She had the Chilean Bass special and I had the vegetali veal toped with mozzarella. The deserts were equally tasty and so was the complimentary limoncello. We wopld gladly return.
