It is right out of Happy Days in the heart of downtown. The food is excellent, and the prices are fair. Have the double vanilla milkshake if you love vanilla. The cheesesteaks are the perfect size. The macaroni and cheese is better than my own. The service is fast, and the waitresses well trained. There Always seems to be management... More

Love this place. I really love their milkshakes. I have to get one every time I go. Also, it's pretty cheap so any college student can go get a decent meal! The original burger is good, nothing to fancy. It's an oldie but goodie! I love the old diner feel and each table has a jukebox!

Featured on Big 10 Network "Campus Eats", the show exaggerated the atmosphere and its importance to PSU and the State College community. Nothing special here.

I went here in college during the 90s and it is still the same today. I read the negative reviews about cleanliness and such and my opinion is this...the place opened in 1987 and is made to look like a 50s diner. If want a place that is newer looking go to a Red Robin or major chain that has... More

Visited here In Jan 2017 during drop off... Party of two was $30 plus tip, each had shakes which were really good. Not crowded but service was a little slower than I expected. Overall a good, reasonable lunch in Happy Valley. Parking: not easy to find, there is a pay lot across the street if you cant find a metered... More

They have a special burger baskets (two burgers with fries and a drink for $13.99. It is one of the best burger I have ever had. The place is a little long wait but it is definitely worth it. It's a very family friendly environment; with even changing tables in the restrooms.

I took my family for a dinner at Baby's, hoping the experience was the same as the last time I was there 20 years previously. All in all, it was a good experience, and a good meal. On the negative side, the place looked like it could use a little tender loving care; dust on the tops of the booth... More

My daughter took me here when I was up visiting State College. Got there a little late on a Sunday. Resturant was quiet. Which was nice so we could talk. The kitchen was getting ready to close. So we ordered quickly. But I did specifically order my burger pink inside. It did not come that way. The burgers are supposed... More

By the title the obvious thing to do was order burgers and shakes and so we did....We had the "Original" and the "Carolina" and both were very tasty....then the peppermint and the shake of the month which was a candy cane/Oreo shake and both were excellent. Chili was enjoyed as well. Service was quick, efficient. Atmosphere is that of an... More
