The food is so fresh and great, a must visit for any trip to Penn State. The bagels rival NY bagels.

I was trying to get a quick bite before I had to meet up with people. I was able to get something hearty! However, it seems a little pricy. Try to avoid lunch time and around 4pm because that's the busiest time. The staff can...More
I've worked in NYC for 30 years, so I've had lots of experience with bagels. Irving's bagels are on par with the best in NY and NJ area. Service is good and the atmosphere is relaxed.
Irvings is the best bagel shop outside of Philadelphia and this place rules. Bagels are fresh every day - I know - I get to visit the bakery to watch how the bagels are made. And they make a LOT! If you need a bagel...More

My favorite part about Irving's is their fresh sandwiches. Also, everything is organic and fresh. They have great baked goods, too. It's a place you must go to when you're in State College!
I had a wonderful brunch at Irving's. I had their chicken sandwich and my children had their grilled cheese. It was very fresh and yummy. I gave them four stars because it was a long wait to get our food.
