My wife and I have been there twice and both times it has been great. The décor makes you feel like you walked into your grandmother's dining room, but its awesome. The staff is very friendly and the selection of food is very surprising considering you are in a small hotel. I had the seafood combination both times...I couldn't resist... More

We had an anniversary celebration in the upstairs blue room with 20 people. We ordered two cakes, a birthday cake for a man, and a 60th wedding anniversary cake. Cost $70 for two 10-inch layer cakes!!! The man's cake had white fancy flowers all over and 3 red balloons on it. The anniversary cake had splotchy blue icing that looked... More

Great food. My favorite is homemade ham and bean soup, Pecan crusted chicken. I have known Wendy for years and have frequented this hotel for many years. She is always so personable, with her big smile.

Virginville is one of our favorite Sunday lunch places. I love the old country hotel ambiance. The food quality is excellent. They are always presenting new dishes. The prices are excellent for the quantity and quality of food. An entree comes with three sides or a salad and one side. They discontinued the hamsteak on the menu, but know we... More

I have eaten in this hotel for many many years, planned and attended many parties here, from birthdays, graduations, promotions, Christmas parties for my work place. Did so much with this establishment I became friends with the owners, who several years ago decided to sell the business. Hadn't been back for a while and we decided after a very busy... More

This place has good broiled haddock. The waitress was friendly and polite. While the food here is good, the prices are high and the portions are small.

Virginville Hotel has the finest home cooking food of any restaurant I ever ate in. The flavor is seasoned by master chef's with a touch of Pa. Dutch and other great food choices at competitive prices. We dine there at least once a week.

This restaurant was recommended by friends and has good reviews on this site. Our family expected to have a tasty meal. Sad to say, it did not live up to the reviews of others. Baked ham arrived in 5 slices slightly thicker than slices of bologna, The top slice was lukewarm and the others were cold. Honey chicken had barely... More

Returning home from a trip to Lancaster we decided to try the Virginville Hotel, a place we had know from the past when the owner at that time was the former Captain Noah on TV. The building had gone through a major change from the past and is quite nice. Virginville is not a thriving metropolis but the restaurant does... More

We went later in the evening. The staff was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The food was excellent! And the fresh made bread was to die for! We're definitely going back! Yum!
