we ordered ahead and when we got there the order was ready. the taste is remarkable, and the pizza crust was amazing. the hot sausage sandwich was out of this world. the buns are made fresh everyday, and the sausage is just tangy enough. they have a sauce that is called goup, which they make on their own. the cheese... My family and I really enjoy Hill House! The crust is light and airy. I would definitely recommend eating the pizza right away as the crust loses its crispness if it sits too long. This is a carryout only pizza place and takes cash only. If your pizza has to sit for a bit before eating, I would put it... More

The pizza comes in square slices. They use premade dough, and the cheese is quite obviously not real mozzarella. Many locals think its a delicacy, but I wasn't impressed

The sauce is nice & light with a hint of sweet while the crust is the perfect combo of crisp & doughy. Not sure what it is about the cheese, but it's phenomenal. The way everything comes together truly makes this the best pizza in town. FAST pickup & make sure you have cash!

I love this pizza. I grew up in the South Hills and I have my favorite pizza place there, but this pizza is a very close second. That's the only place we'll order pizza from when we have the choice.

There is always the fight between who has the best pizza in Washington. I personally believe that Hill House is my favorite, however, it's all in a personal preference. This pizza is square cut, and always fantastic. Family operated and owned for many years. They offer some subs here as well, but mostly known for their pizza. It's a definite... More

This is a little place with a walk up window. Nothing fancy. Square sheet pizza, sold by the slice. Opens at 5 PM each day. Pizza and meatball sandwiches. I was visiting the area and wanted a salad - had to go elsewhere to get it. Pizza, and only pepperoni at that. It was cheap and it was good. Definitely... More

I have been eating Hill House Pizza since they opened in 1961 and I was a sophomore in high school.......it was great because we only lived a block from it and I remember many, many times walking up the hill to get it......to me and my family (9 siblings) it is absolutely THE BEST!! Half of them have moved south,... More

A little hole in the wall, but the most different tasting pizza, which is fantastic. Sold by the slice, square cut flakey buttery crust great sauce and quality cheese. If I ever moved away I think I would miss this pizza most.
