The name and owner of this restaurant has changed frequently. It's attached to the Wayne Hotel. Food is served on the porch when the weather is cooperative. The first time I came here was on Christmas Eve a year or two ago. It was noisy, pricy, the servers appeared harried and the food was nothing special. A friend suggested we meet... More

We had a large work group dine at the Paramour. The atmosphere and decor are elegant but comfortable. Everyone enjoyed their food. The chef accommodated my request for a vegan salad and main dish- both were delicious. Service was attentive. The wine list is extensive and we had some delicious selections.

The food was generally well liked at our table although one of the steak & frites had to go back because the requested "medium" was not right. I had a lobster roll that was interestingly deconstructed. We particularly enjoyed the service and the fact that we were there till past 11 pm and no une rushed us out. Being a... More

My husband planned a fabulous birthday evening for my 40th along with a group of friends. While the Paramour is beautiful and in the past we experienced a nice dinner, this visit was not exactly great. When we arrived my husband planned for appetizers to be served with drinks in a private setting while we waited for dinner, several of... More

I can’t tell you how surprised we are to receive your 1-star review as your husband emailed us after your Birthday Celebration stating that the “food and service were great”, “thank you for all your help you provided in setting up the event - much appreciated” and “you did an amazing job for us”. The event was to be a... More

Start slowly with this place. Start with the bar room, have a leisurely drink, order from the menu , converse and relax. If the weather is pleasant, hang out on the front porch and watch the world go by. Favorite time of year... Summer.

We ate here twice while staying at the hotel. While the menu is limited, the selections were varied and every selection was very good. The first night we had the prix fix dinners - a great bargain, plenty of food, great sauces and flavors. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. Desserts were also delicious. The second night was... More

I ate here for a holiday lunch with 6 of my coworkers. All the food was good, but everyone especially like the appetizers and I thought they were the best tasting. I had the Tuscan onion soup and it was very good. Someone who had the deviled egg appetizer, said it was "outstanding" and gave it 9.5 out of 10.... More

My wife and I along with 3 other couples and a young child enjoyed the famous Paramour brunch recently and loved it. We were seated promptly and presently and our waitress arrived with a smile to serve us coffee, juices and glasses to try their famous make your own Bloody Mary bar - it was a real nice and innovative...
