Very different experience in the main dining room. The same menu as the bar and outdoor areas. The menu is like a diner menu. It's fine but not really exciting. The food is fine but we have no favorites. Our server struggled a little and we had to wait quite awhile for our bills. The soup was served tepid to... More

Enjoyed the broiled crab cakes and draft beer sample. Good casual place to go before bowling or to watch sports.

I do not like eating at local restaurants. Most are chains or I have a preconceived idea of what it is like. I was not a fan of the previous restaurants at the address now occupied by the Crimson, so I was prejudiced. However, I went and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The style of food is "American" in style.

They have great bar food at reasonable prices and domestic draft beer prices that are among the best in York for quality restaurants. Over the years, I have had most of the sandwiches on the menu and thought most of them were excellent. It's a great place for happy hour and meeting your friends or business associates for a bite... Atmosphere good, but service slow and portion size small. Less than expected. Waited 20 minutes for desert.

Went to Crimson Grill for business dinner and it was very nice. Atmosphere to conduct business was excellent and the food was terrific and not as expensive as we would have thought. The restaurant was not too loud so when we were talking to each other we could actually hear each other.

I am always looking for non-chain, locally owned and operating restaurants. It must be the pride they take in ownership, attention to detail and managed staff that makes many of these are more rewarding experience that the common chain restaurant. The Crimson American Grill is one of the good ones. The facility is well laid out, the staff attentive and... More

My only son attended York College of Pennsylvania and now is employed there. He has had a chance to check out the restaurants there over the past four-plus years. He likes Crimson American Grill and now so do his parents. The three of us recently had dinner there on a Sunday. My wife selected a special, Beef Tournedos, my son... More

We enjoy meeting for happy hour and dinner on the patio in nice weather. But, the restaurant and bar area are also pleasant. The food is usually quite good. I like the tuxedo tuna appetizer the best.
