Service was good. Ambiance is fine is you like "reconstructed" chapel in a mall. Kind of place a high school kid would take their prom date. Wine list by the glass was pitiful. Salads were good. Entrees nothing memorable. Damages with one glass of wine...More

I am sorry you did not enjoy your last visit to Chapel Grille. The building was built in 1891, with a lot of history behind just being a chapel. Hopefully you will give us another try and we can chat about the wine list and...More

Had Sunday Brunch at the Grille this past weekend. The atmosphere was very nice however I was so disappointed there was not a dress recommendation for such a classy place. There were guys in shorts, flip flops and baseball caps on and gals in halter...More

atmosphere was a little loud, it is a busy and large restaurant so my husband and I expected that. Costantino are server was professional and gave great service that should come with a restaurant as Chapel Grille. Food was above par (get the veal chop)...More

I go here quiet often. I love the restaurant. I always choose something different and aside from the chicken Marsala, I have always enjoyed my meal. The chicken Marsala tasted like maple syrup not Marsala. They have recently changed their menu but thankfully the New...More

Beautiful building but very loud dining area. The calamari was some of the best I have ever had. Service was spot on. However, the gnocci was tough and basically inedible. The side of eggplant was small but adequate. Definitely better than the gnocci. I expected...More

The Sunday brunch is outstanding. You have to pause at the start and look over the entire offering. There is something very tasty for all. Breakfast or lunch, there are excellent choices. The only item that I was disappointed in was the beef carving station....More

Excellent chowder. Extremely rich and filing so frankly, I didn't try anything else. It is a beautiful space, right across the street from Garden City.

ok, well the restaurant is questioning my response. so here it is. I never complain about a place to the wait staff and maybe I should but it is not in my nature to hurt people. However when I ask a person to get me another steak and show them that the one i had is full of fat, like large pieces which amounted to more than the meat on the steak itself then I am told."sir if you know anything about steak you should know that it has to have a large amount of marbling to be juicy. I am sure you do not know anything about that and perhaps you should go to another place that serves cheap steaks". My wife almost fell off her chair with laughter. I am 74 years old, have traveled all over the world and eaten in the best restaurants that are available. and I know a fatty steak from a marbled one. I have eaten Kobe steak, bison steak, elk, etc. fat is fat not marble. but to be told this in front of friends was a bit much. I paid my bill and did not complain. You have asked for the answer and so I have given as much as I wish to at this or any other time. I am sure this person spoke for himself and not the restaurant. My wife in fact went there the other day with girl friends and said the lunch was great.

If you made a reservation why not ask for the person with whom you made it with or a manager and make sure they have you listed and the number of people and the day and time. If they do not get back to you that is bad... More

Most likely, the reservation did not go through. There may have been a problem at the restaurant but hard to tell. You can call the restaurant or try to re-book with Open Table.
