Set in a incredible building, the tavern was filled w people having a great time. The generous drinks help create the atmosphere; the top notch food certainly speaks for itself. Our waitress Laura recommended the braised beef and it was delicious. Calamari appetizer was a great start to a delicious meal. The desert - blueberry dumplings - was an excellent... More

This bar/restaurant has a really neat atmosphere, went here on a Wednesday night and had a nice crowd. Ate the swordfish and it was good. The New England clam chowder soup was also good. Wish they had an amber beer on tap, which they did not. However they did have a decent assortment of other beers on tap. Worth a... More

We ate off the specials menu and it was a great experience for and the meals were delicious as always. The place was packed but service was quick, attentive, professional and friendly. "Chuck" treated us very well. Our glasses were never empty and we wanted for nothing while eating. Great experience!

We were in town for a few nights and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. The Iron Works Tavern is physically connected and the weather was typical February in RI; snow and cold. We took the path of least resistance and decided on dinner despite our aversion, (we thought) to hotel food.Nicole was our server and helped us with selections.... More

We both ordered the prime rib grinder. The PR was really well done, parmigiano fries were tasty but a little soggy. Service was good, might not be my first choice next time flying out of PVD.

If you are a business traveler or even a local and you haven't been to the Iron Works Tavern.. you need to find a way there. The decor inside is spot on and quaint. Old mill style with the rustic wood and beams. The food choices are abundant and the food is very good. Sometimes a bit noisy, but that's... More

Recently met a colleague there for dinner. Service was excellent, food was way better than I imagined and there was a great vibe. I will definitely be back and highly recommend giving it a try.

First visit to Iron Works Tavern and I loved it. Got there ahead of lunch crowd (mostly business-casual professionals) right when it opened at 11:30. Most of the tables were filled by noon. Everything on the menu looked good (variety of entree salads, burgers, fish tacos, etc), but I settled on the Vegetable Scampi w/Penne Pasta. Despite being very light... More
