Superb experience, very enjoyable evening with some of the tastiest food I’ve had. Service spot on, attentive but not overbearing; food excellent. Not been here for a few years decided to visit 9 th July a Saturday evening. Excellent service lovely friendly warm welcoming staff . The food was outstanding we had 3 courses and enjoyed all 3 . Excellent bar service all round fabulous will definitely...be back highly recommend.More

Our go-to Indian restaurant for great tasting food and a good night out. The fact we make a 25 mile round trip should speak for itself really. There are plenty of alternatives in a 5 mile radius, but we just love the Tamarind. Good value,...good service, friendly staff. Can't wait until our next visit.More

Food was great as usual, friendly helpful staff. Night was slightly spoiled by two rude and abusive Teresa May lookalikes who were abhorrent to staff for no reason other than to try and get a free meal, but they are now banned and obviously this...is no reflection on the restaurant itself. Staff were more than professional in dealing with those reprobates, I commend their resolve in handling a pair of foul-mouthed middle aged women with utmost grace and politeness. Well done all 😎More

Biryani sauce was like flavourless dishwater, korma had no flavour , Malaysian tasteless. Jalfrezi was just about edible. 2 chutney trays with 2 broken bits of poppadoms.The worst food we have ever tasted.

Beautiful meal..we are spice fiends so had the Garlic balti phall hot,it was absolutely gorgeous..rich,flavoursome and the spice was spot on! Beautiful meal and despite us trying pretty much every Indian within a 10 mile radius we always end up back at the Tamarind. Never...fails.More

We had a delivery from here and it was excellent food and service . They gave us complimentary poppadums and salad and sauce . And it was gorgeous

We decided to have an Indian Takeaway meal and thought we would try the Tamarind. What a disappointment! Firstly it was 30mins late! I had a king prawn purée to start. It was the most tasteless starter ever, with very tough and chewy prawns! Our...main courses weren’t any better, particularly the Chicken Makhani. It was absolutely tasteless! The Naan bread was like soggy dough and the side of chips looked like they had been warmed up from two days ago! Without doubt the worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had !More

We have been going to the Tamarind for some years now and we have never had a bad meal. The standard is consistently excellent, so you are never disappointed.
