We stopped in for a quick bite before a scheduled tour. We both had a "Monte Christo" with chip & pickle and an orange soda. Was pretty good, actually. Tiny little restaurant, but it seemed to keep moving... at least on a Wednesday lunch time. Would definitely stop in again. Nice atmosphere.

After a full morning of walking, this was a great place to stop for lunch. If you are not in the mood for seafood or a heavy meal at mid-day, this deli is just right. We ate lunch here twice in the 4 days spent in Charleston. Each time we ordered a salad or sandwich that was one of their... More

This place right on the north side of the City Market. It's a great place to find a simple, inexpensive place to eat. The sandwiches are also very good. If you're looking for something easy in you're in the area of the market swing in here.

Was looking for small grocery, and found this instead. Great bacon and eggs, and the cheese grits was absolutely yummy.

It was busy so it was a little slow but sandwiches were good and interesting classic sandwich was exactly what we needed for lunch.

This is where to go for a great sandwich. Excellent choices of traditional fare, as well as, something different if you prefer. Fresh bread and high quality meats and veggies...take your pick. AND, priced right...a good value in a pricey town. A "go too" place for lunch.

Looking for a quick lunch while shopping at the Market in Charleston? This is not a gourmet deli, nor is it meant to be. This is a lunch spot that happens to have pretty good sandwiches. The NY Sloppy Joe is really good for the money. The root beer float was outstanding. Atmosphere is just a deli. Food was above... More

This little deli has a big menu - we had a turkey sandwich with honey mustard and a cheeseburger and I can honestly say, it was probably the best cheeseburger of my life! It has a great location, right on Market Street and also the other things that people next to us had ordered looked fantastic, trust me, we thought... More

The wait was short to order, but the woman behind the counter was no where near as friendly as she should have been. It almost seemed as if we were disturbing her. The root beer floats we order were delicious though.

I guess because of its location it is always busy. I had to wait about 30 minutes for a to go order for one sandwich. After all that, it was just a sandwich. Not bad, but nothing special. Should have kept walking....
