I was recently there for a business dinner in the Loft. It was a set menu. First off we were not allowed to pick an appetizer. There were three choices and the tomato bisque was not offered. They just brought out the baked brie ( no crackers to go with it) and tomato bruschetta which was good. My NY strip... More

We went to Ristorante Divino to celebrate a friends birthday and I left with food poisoning. I ordered the Gorgonzola Gnocchi and about half way through my meal something about the taste just hit me wrong, I couldn't finish my meal. I almost immediately got the gurgles. By the time I made it home my stomach started cramping terribly and... More

Very professional staff. Was friendly and helpful in wine selection. We had a reservation and seated quickly. The service was slow but steady. I hope everyone has the same experience as I did. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

This place was small compared to others we visited in downtown Columbia. Service was cheerful and competent. Specials of the day were excellent. Good menu, not huge but adequate. Might be a really busy place on the weekends so call ahead for reservations.

We were a business party of 6. Divino has been a very good restaurant for business dinners in Columbia for a long time. It had probably been 5 years since I last visited. Without question it is still doing a great job. Our group ordered everything from fish, veal and beef and it was all outstanding. The stuffed peppers and... More

Ristorante Divino is probably the most elegant restaurant in Columbia, South Carolina. The chef is a culinary artist with roots from Como, Italy. He is creative in the preparation and presentation of every dish. The ambiance is high class. The staff is very professional and most attentive. The setting is perfect for couples and most accommodating for business. It is... More

Pick Ristorante Divino for a group business dinner. We were put in the upstairs private dining room, we had a group of about 15, and we had one waitress to serve us and she had to go downstairs to get our food and drinks, except for beers. We had a limited menu and the choices were disappointing, not what i... More

I did not expect to find a restaurant of this quality in a smaller city like Columbia, but Divino's is fantastic. I went there as a guest of a local professor and regular. It's his favorite restaurant in town, and I can see why. I couldn't begin to expound upon the distinctive entrees or even describe the sauces, but the... More

If you come to Columbia, SC you must dine here. It is delightfully elegant without being pretentious. The restaurant is Italian, but almost always offers some surprises featuring local ingredients. They do not adhere to strictly Italian cuisine and the staff is as imaginative as they are talented. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered the scallops and my husband and son both ordered the Gnocchi - my husband had the Bolognese and my son had the gorgonzola. The gnocchi barely covered the bottom of the bowl. It was ridiculous! It was barely an appetizer portion! I got 3 scallops. I guess that's normal, I don't know. The food was good and the... More
