We decided where to take our lunch break from the conference by committee, so we ended up walking to a little Mexican restaurant near the USC campus. The best thing I can say is the tortilla chips were some of the best I've had. The were FRESH, not stale. They were salted, thicker than usual, warm and crispy. Everything else... More

Vegan beans and vegan cheese. You can get lots of things made vegan here. Just ask for help. The veggie wet burrito with vegan cheese is pretty good. Nice area of downtown.

Tio's has the good fortune of being within walking distance of the SC State House, the USC Horseshoe and Town Theatre. We have eaten there more times than I can count, and meals have the welcoming "somewhere where everybody knows your name" ambience. The servers are friendly and engaging whether you have a party of 2 or 20, the food... More

It's an average restaurant . Not on same level even as Monterrey or El Paso. It'll do in a pinch and is cheap for the college kids around I'm sure.

A group of four of us ate at Tio's on a Saturday night. We expected to have to wait, as it was already 8pm, but there were lots of empty tables so we sat right down. We should have known at this point that we could expect subpar food. While the chips and salsa were average, no one got any... More

Food was delicious, service was wonderful and prices weren't bad. This isn't your typical "Mexican" restaurant. You actually have to order based on the name of the dish, not some number on a menu. The Mahi Mahi taco was great, especially the sauce on it. And for only 3.50 you really can't beat that price. The chips and salsa are... More

Tios shares its first letter with the best word to describe the place, namely "terrible." (I am almost tempted to write that word in all caps.) All the food at this establishment either comes straight out of the microwave or is prepared by Columbia's least talented chef... on an uninspired day. Everything, from the chips over the salsa to the... More

The only reason someone would give this place above two stars would be they don't know what good Mexican tastes like. The chips are from a bag, if the salsa was made fresh they need another recipie, it wasn't as good as Pace. Tacos were below avg. Service was great.

Other tacos had very little meat in them. Fish tacos were great according to my son. I don't think the chips or salsa were made there. Probably bagged chips and salsa off the shelf. First time in Colombia, next time will find another Mexican place.

The food is great here and so is the service. The staff offer suggestions and are quite warm and hospitable. Had been there around 4 times and enjoyed each time. Would recommend prawn enchiladas as they are sumptuous!
