The grouper finger appetizers were very good. Otherwise the food is very overpriced and I did not care for the way it was served. Our server at the table was not helpful although the server in the bar was good. I would not return for a meal here.

My mother and I were visiting Georgetown after a lovely tour at Hobcaw and chose to dine at The Old Fish House. Very poor decision! We waited a very long time for our orders to be taken. The waitress acted like we were imposing, having waited tables at many places in my younger days, I would advice her to find... More

Had an early dinner here. Had to wait quite a while for a chilled glass for a bottle of beer. My spouse was served cold coffee. Both items were rectified but not terribly promptly.My. crab cake sandwich was acceptable but a tad overcooked and not especially fresh made in taste. My spouse, however, gave the Calamari two enthusiastic thumbs up.The... More

Went to lunch here with a business partner. The restaurant is located in the historic Georgetown downtown and has a great view of the harbor. Narrow and long, the front of the establishment is mainly a full bar with some tables along the opposite wall. Walk past the kitchen out back and they have outdoor seating both under roof or... Cute, dark little place with plenty of local "we hate yankees" and fisherman decor to add some color. We had salads with tuna, and sandwiches, quick and easy, nothing fancy.

Stopped in for a late lunch. We sat outside in the high chairs with a board in front of us. The view was good, but to eat food it was awkward. A table opened-up before our food came and we moved. The food was good. Service, so so.
