Best fried shrimp in town. Real good iced tea. Delicious banana pudding. Very consistent and an experienced staff.

If you want good food that is unpretentious and just down right good this is the place. Very clean, friendly help, rather slow in getting the food out, but great southern style cooking, The Sunday special is a great deal. One meat and three vegetables and a dessert. Plenty of food and cooked just right. By the way if you... More

This is your classic small town Southern diner. It opens at 6am for classic breakfast and great coffee. You can sit and listen to the locals chat about everything from the weather to the price of gas. They make everyone feel like a local. I love their lunch deals as well. The "meat & three" selections each day will make... More

Food is awesome but when I go in all I'm thinking about is that famous coconut pie, and the waitress is on point, ask for Gigi she'll treat you right and she'll answer all of your questions, just a good experience definitely going back...

This food is reliably good (not great - good) in my experience. However, be sure that you are under no time constraints. As consistently good as the food is, so is the fact that the wait times are very long; I have never waited under 30 minutes for a meal.

For down-home cooking, you can't beat the Ball & Que. We eat there at least twice a month! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are great. There's always a special board that usually includes fried chicken. It's as good as my momma used to fry!! The "Q Special buger" is the best. I usually get the Jeepy Ford Salad which is named... More

The name sounds like a billiard parlor but it's a nice restaurant for breakfast. I got a bacon and cheese omelet and it came with grits and your choice of toast or biscuit and I got a biscuit for $7.00. My husband got 2 eggs with bacon, dry wheat toast for $5.75 and hash browns for 50 cents extra for... More

I really wish TripAdvisor would segregate reviews specific to breakfast, lunch and dinner, not all lumped together. With that said, my review is for their breakfast. The menu is comprised of most southern fare (grits, hash browns choice of meats etc.etc.) The portions were generous, the grits prepared excellent (you know, not everyone knows how to cook 'em). The service... More

A favorite eatery with locals and visitors alike. Breakfast is great but I have enjoyed dinners there, as well. The fried chicken is the best. The food has never disappointed me. Given the Ball & Que's popularity it can be crowded, particularly on weekends; plan accordingly. Besides being a super eatery, the B&Q provides delicious foods for parties. My favorite... More
