So we have season tickets to the Peace Centers Broadway Series. So we rotate restaurants prior to a show. This time is was The Lazy Goat. We typically share small plates (the preferred thing to do at The Lazy Goat. Then the waiter explained the night special which was an Italian Kingklip. This is the first time I have ever... More

We had reservations for Thanksgiving and even though they were not as crowed as they were for Easter, wechad to wait to be seated. After bei g seated, all went well. They food was delicious and plentiful. The price was reasonable and service was as well.

This restaurant is awesome! We had a wonderful dining experience. The food is delicious, especially the brussel sprouts small plate. The staff are knowledgeable and professional! The window seating allows for a beautiful view of the spectacular river walk and unique architecture nearby. Highly recommend and will return ourselves!!

Once again we were amazingly pleased with our experience at the Lazy Goat. The small plates are always such a great idea and service is always superb.

I went there with intentions of eating dinner but left after 1 drink at the bar. It took more than a few minutes to be acknowledged by the bar tender. When I finally got my drink he never came back to ask if I wanted a menu or anything else. I asked another bar patron where I might want to... More

Maybe it is just me, all the dishes are a bit salty and lack the "vibrance" of southern Spanish food. The view is nice though, if you get a window seat.

I took my husband out on a date this past Sunday to Greenville for an early dinner and we were very happy with our food choices - the Mediterranean Spiced Chicken was out of this world and the Brussel Sprouts appetizer was delicious. The food did not come out quick, but it was worth the wait. The view of the... More

Situated with a great view of the river the place always seems to lack ambiance to me, a bit like eating in an airport terminal. The food is good with the emphasis on presentation rather than quantity. The menu choice I find rather limited, most restaurants I find it hard to make a choice between 3 or 4 items -... More

We stopped while in town for a soccer tournament. The food was OK with a very limited selection for lunch. Even though the restaurant was practically empty when we arrived, our sandwich wraps and French fries took an hour to get. The quality of the food was ok, fries were over cooked and a few were even dark brown. The... More

The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant with a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East and a relaxed atmosphere where taking the time to "linger and share" is encouraged. The diverse menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat & cheese plates, small plates to “graze and nibble,” and main dishes. Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of that and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like".
