For Belgian-inspired fare, this can't be beat. The Mussels really are fantastic and you could nearly drink the broth so as not to waste a drop. Fries, fries, and more fries, served with 3 sauces. The fries ARE delicious and there's about a dozen sauce choices. The beef filet was truly incredible. I chose a cab demi glaze that was... More

We visited on Saturday evening, had made a reservation and that's probably a good idea. Once we got down the stairs we discovered a boisterous crowd in the dining room. Interestingly the walls were covered with Tintin comics, a rare sight in the USA, giving this place a Belgian feel. The beer selection is Belgian, and huge. We were not... More

After you make your way down the stairs, you will find a very cozy bar and dining area. The selection of beers was almost overwhelming and the several we selected were very good. Our party of four were all very pleased with our entrees, which included coq au vin, beef stew and a very tasty seafood stew. For desert we... More

If you have out of town guests, this is an excellent starter to the delights of Greenville. Get the Mussells with your taste in sauces. Beer pros will love the selection.

I had done my homework on Trip advisor and found this place for dinner pre show at the Peace center. Had 5pm early reservations so it was not busy when we arrived. Started with a meat and cheese board and a lovely bottle on wine. Then we recalled folks said the muscles were good. Holy cow they were outstanding!!! There... More

We tried a variety of dishes and everything was great from the mussel pot to the duck to the desserts. We had 4 different main dishes, 2 different appetizers and three different deserts. Service was great, nice wine list.

This place has a distinct brewhaus vibe. You walk downstairs to see a large, well populated bar. low ceilings, and a small intimate dining area. The menu was small but filled with interesting choices that had a Flemish flair. Their wine choices for a "brewhaus" were exceptional-I had a Sauvignon blanc and my wife Chardonnay. We ordered a delicious sauteed... More

My husband and I always enjoy the Trappe Door. We usually sit at the bar and their bartenders or mixologists or beer experts(for they are all of the above) never steer us wrong. We always experience superb service and a laid back atmosphere. The beer selection is on point and the food is great too. The mussels with citrus sauce... More

Just stopped on the way to Asheville and really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere- felt like I was in Belgium! Great Belgium beer choices, great staff. Couldn't try the good because the kitchen closes on Sunday at 3 til 5:30 so missed that! But definitely will go again! Great find!
