The menu has a few different items and everything is well prepared. Unfortunately, it is within wild dunes complex inside the Inn, not IOP proper. So unless you are staying in the inn or immediately nearby, it takes a bit of an effort.

We ate here with our three children (9, 7, and 1) and the buffet was great for everyone. I got my fix of all things Lowcountry (fried oysters, shrimp and grits, crawfish), there were non-shellfish options for my allergic husband, and my kids liked the kids table (chicken fingers and fries). It includes a great cold selection and the price... More

Tried buffet figuring it was fast and easy with kids. Food was not seasoned and pretty bland. I don't feel it was worth the money. Food selection is very limited

The buffet food was not good at all. The fried catfish wasn't fully cooked, the brisket had no flavor. The macaroni didn't even taste good. Extremely disappointing for $22 an adult. We barely ate. The house Pinot Grigio was actually good though.

We thought a buffet dinner would be quick and easy for our large family with children. They had a very limited selection of food, and most of the trays were actually empty. They couldn't keep up with the volume. I ended up eating kids chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese for $22 since there wasn't much else available. My drink... More

Great way to feed the kids after a day at the beach while at Wild Dunes! Buffet makes it super fast. Special table of kid friendly food. Adult food is always delicious.

Had buffet, which was southern cooking only. No seafood on it. Cost us $25, per person with drink, plus tip. Too much IMO for greens, beans, corn muffins, succatash, fried chicken, BBQ pork, salad, couple more veggies, vanilla pudding.

Southern fare, pricey for what was offered. Not crowded so maybe that's why wasn't all freshly made. One dessert option (banana pudding) which I was allergic to - otherwise pay for desserts. Biscuits where fresh and delicious. Didn't go back. Would be nice to have a good "non buffet" option on the beautiful site. The grill by the pool better... More

We dined here one evening during a recent trip to Wild Dines. It was our best dining experience on the resort. The food was simply amazing. The Mac and cheese rivaled some of the best I've ever had.

Don't bother! Their Renovation was more important than their current customers! Yes your getting ready for the season, but don't forget about your current customers! So totally disappointed! Never again!!!!! Waste of money! Go anywhere but here!
