Looks like the manager finally got what he wanted. He fired everyone including himself. This is what happens when you don’t know how to run a restaurant and you have a Napoleon complex.

We found Sam Snead’s Oak Grill& Tavern a great place to dine. We made reservations and had no wait. The service was excellent. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. The decor was inviting, especially if you are into golf. We would recommend Sam Snead’s...Oak Grill & Tavern to everyone. We have been there a few times now.More
It’s a very good steak house. We all got steak. Done as order, atmosphere way nice. Prices bit above ather restaurants of same quality We will be going back
I Research on Trip advisor to Plan out our top picks on where to go eat at the beach. We had not been there before. It was rating very good. I had the Filet and my huband had the Grilled Salmon. It was oak grilled....It was wonderfull. The Atmosphere was calming and relaxed. I was too full to try their Desserts but they Sounded delicious. And they do take reservations. We will go back somedayMore
We stumbled across Sam Sneeds restaurant while visiting Myrtle Beach a few years ago. We visit at least once or twice every time we go on vacation to MB. The service is outstanding, the food is delicious and in particular - you will not get...a better steak! Next level! You cannot make a reservation online but you can call to make one. It is always best to do that.More
We were staying at the Legends Resort; this was our first night on our trip for golf with friends from Virginia and Georgia. They provided us with a private room which was great for our gathering of 20 golfers. The food and drink were outstanding....Service was great. Would recommend going here if you have a large group and you want to eat together. Will be eating here on our next trip.More
Sam Snead's was an absolute delight! The food was delicious, ambiance warm and welcoming and our server .Kristi, fabulous. Ordered 3 different meals...turkey, ham and prime rib...and we found each to be excellent. I can totally recommend the perfectly cooked prime rib. I savored every...bite. We never felt rushed and loved our server. Can't wait to go back!!More
So good! Rolls delish & warm. Prime rib. HUGE! Cooked perfectly. Tender. Green bean casserole very authentic. Steamed green beans & carrots cooked perfectly. Stuffing delish. Mac & cheese, very good. Sweet potato casserole good but had pecans in it. Desserts amazing, especially Apple Cobbler....Bloody Mary's heavy on horseradish but really good. Wanted to try for a while. Glad we did! Will go back.More
We had a very nice experience. It took a little longer than normal to be served and get our food (no doubt due to the current situation) but we enjoyed everything that we had to eat.
Resently moved to the area, trying out different restaurants in area, so far Sam Sneeds by far surpassed the rest.
This is a favorite of ours. The entire staff is so pleasant and accommodating, Great atmosphere, great foo & great service. Skyla was our server. Very friendly, nice and attentive.
We wanted an early dinner and decided to sit at the bar as service is usually better these days with the shortage of restaurant staff. We had wine, beer, and house bourbon for happy hour. They have a nice selection of happy hour apps for...$5.00. We chose pretzels bites with cheese sauce. It was good. Our dinner choices were rib eye steak and salmon. Partner was excited to see they have a wood fired grill. His steak did have nice flavor from the grill but was tough. My salmon was overcooked and dry and needed more teriyaki sauce. Steamed veggies and baked potato were ordinary sides and could have been warmer. Just not very impressed overall with the food choices but would return to the bar for drinks and small plates.More
I love a restaurant that has an atmosphere or theme yet not over-stimulating By the name those who are sports aficionados will know Sam Snead’s is decorated with lots of golf memorabilia. My friend and I were catching up after not seeing each other for...a long time. I mention this because if there was music playing it was at a sensible volume so we could hear each other talk. We had great service and the seafood was fresh. I ordered the mahi-mahi with teriyaki glaze which I enjoyed. I thought the portion sizes were appropriate and not over-priced. For dessert, I had what was listed a strawberry shortcake which came on a waffle. I notice because usually I know strawberry shortcake to be served on either a biscuit or a spongy cake. It was just as tasty and the perfect ending to our dining experience.More
Came here for dinner. Visiting in town so never been here before. It’s happy hour from 4 to 7 every day so that was a benefit. As a warm-up I had the she crab soup and it was excellent. I’m a big fan of it...and I have to say there’s was very tasty. For my main course I had the steak salad and my steak was perfectly prepared and the salad is huge. I have to say that it was a very tasty meal and I will go back.More
Excellent food and a wonderful atmosphere! This is one of our favorite go-to places when we are in Myrtle Beach. We enjoy sitting at the bar in a booth. The bartender and server are so nice and accommodating.
