Like golf- you'll love the decor- love good food- you'll like this place. Great variety. You can even get your fill on an appetizer and salad. Wood fired entrees are super.

We stopped in on our way back to the hotel after playing Wild Wing and there was no one in the restaurant at 5 PM. Within 30 minutes, it was nearly full. The Par 3 is about $21 and includes a choice of appetizers or dessert, a choice of second course - excellent soups or salads - and a choice... More

Went for early dinner after a round of golf and enjoyed the early bird menu available from 4 to 6 PM. There are several choices for appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts all for $20.95 per person. We had bruschetta, crab balls, french onion soup and half rack of ribs. All I can say is that everything served was perfect, cooked... More

Usually the service and food is good. Tonight it was different. Poor service. Food quality was not good. My Salmon was so over cooked it didn't taste like salmon. My husbands ribs were cold. The special of grouper was over cooked. Dissapointed

We have eaten at Sam Snead's, three times over the last year, and enjoyed consistent great experiences. However, this visit was the worst - the worst of any restaurant we can remember. The first thing we noticed was how empty the restaurant was compared to what we have seen in our past visits. While in the past, the restaurant was... More

In the past few years we have eaten here for lunch or dinner. This time was 7 classmates meeting for lunch. The ambiance is great as is the staff. Our waitress Darlette was the same wonderful server we had last year! She is the best! All of us had different choices and all were pleased. From the cobb salad to... More

We ate here every night we were at the Legends resort. We had Thanksgiving dinner here and decided to come back each evening. The service was excellent and the food was great!

Visit: Four guys, Saturday night, around 6pm after playing golf at Myrtle Beach National. A nice atmosphere, convenient for us just off 501, and had what we were looking for post-golf. Why the average review? Well, it probably deserves better since I liked my meal, but the check in gave me a bad taste in my mouth and it never... More

We went on Sunday afternoon and were seated with no wait. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable lunch. Our server, Sean, was the epitome of excellent service. I spent many years in service industry and was very impressed with his knowledge of the menu and his ability to make guests feel welcome. His timing was perfect, recommendations were right... More

If you live and breathe the game of golf, you’re bound to hunger for more than a few birdies. At Sam Snead’s Oak Grill & Tavern, you can feast on your passion for the game, as well as great food. Come in and roam from room to room, savoring the rich wood décor and all the memorabilia collected by Sam himself as he made his way into golf history. Then choose from a wide selection of foods grilled only with locally-cured oak that creates our signature, unique flavor. Start with Sam’s appetizers; make your selection from Certified Angus Beef ® brand products, the freshest local seafood, chicken or fall-off-the-bone ribs smoked in-house. Complement all of this with a fine wine, a Slammin’ Sam lager or your favorite cocktail. For the lighter appetite, there’s a wide salad and sandwich selection to be enjoyed at Sam Snead’s Oak Grill & Tavern. Be sure to top your meal with one of our homemade desserts.
