We went for the early bird special and I thought it was a little pricey for what you got. I has the seafood pasta and my husband had the shrimp and grits. Bread was good.

Excellent experience on Valentine's Day. We had a shrimp dinner and a fried oyster dinner. Both were outstanding. The oysters were lightly fired with light breading. The veggies were quite good with unique flavoring. The chef has been there for about 30 years and there is a good reason for that. Very popular with the locals. Not highly advertised. This... More

So many good things but unfortunately clouded by the attitude of the manager. We arrived for Sunday brunch. Almost felt like we were putting him out. I said "Hi, how are you?" And he didn't respond. Just showed us to our table. The view was lovely. The food was very good. The gentleman carving the meat must have been trained... More

We love this place in the winter when it's not so crowded. The local shrimp are fresh and can be prepared almost any way you like. Try not to fill up on the variety of brads and muffins served before the meal. Good low country she crab soup too.

The setting is very nice, but best seen by daylight. I had crabcakes, which were very good, and my husband enjoyed their mussels. The service was friendly, but not terrific, as the waitress would forget small items.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is excellent, along with the service. We enjoy getting a table by the water. The Sunday brunch is unsurpassed. The variety of foods is impressive-- everything from breakfast and egg dishes, prime rib, Asian dishes, pasta, salads, desserts. Highly recommend, and it's less crowded than The Chesapeake House next door.

We sat by a window by the lake and looked out as the sun went down. We had very good food and a very good waitress! We would defiantly return. Expensive, but worth the price.

Make Sunday brunch here a MUST! It's one of the best in Myrtle Beach! Lovely restaurant with excellent food! Be sure to sit by a window to view the little lake while you dine and maybe you'll see some alligator or wildlife.

WE are so thrilled with the service and food and we just keep going early to get a good seat. The food just keeps getting better. We are proud to have this restaurant in our community. Warren and Mel work very hard to be helpful to all and will fix your food exactly as your request. Not to mention the... More

This restaurant is located on a lake with a great view. We were there on a busy night but the service was good. I had the specific of the night, prime rib, which arrived perfectly done to my request and did not have the usual large piece of fat. My companion had the fried oyster platter which was also delicious.... More
