Evo's is a fun spot to eat for date night or with friends. It's small and located in Park Circle-an upcoming hip area in North Charleston. The pizza is delicious and they have vegetarian options as well as an extensive beer list. Fun spot!

Saw on trip advisor that this was a great pizza spot. Definitely true. Had a pepperoni and feta cheese pizza that was probably the BEST PIZZA we have ever had. Lite airy crust to die for. Excellent flavor and great service!

I recently went to EVO one night to try their pizza. We went around 9pm so the place wasn't crowded since they close at 10pm. Staff was very friendly. Service was great. Drinks and food came quick. Their large salads are a good size for 2 to share with a pizza. Bibb lettuce salad was delicious! We got their large... More

Evo pizzas are my favorite. I feel like I am eating REAL FOOD. The menu does change through out the seasons. The staff is extremely helpful and a large amount of customers are local and weekly repeats. It's just that good.

A group of 5 of us were seated right away. We ordered a bibb salad for the table. It was $10 and fed all 5 of us well. It was delicious! Lots of flavor. We ordered the Marguerita Pizza w/ basil and white sauce. It was very good. It could have used a little more basil. The Pork Trifecta was... More

Tried Kale Salad (with bacon) and 2 different pizzas ((cheese and sausage fresco). All were top notch. My wife and two kids and I were all satisfied. Great service and delicious food. You can't go wrong

We are from the New York/ Philadelphia area. We know pizza of all types. This is a very nice pizza parlor but not worth the wait or drive. We shared four different types of pizza and didn't finish any. Waitress was great and explained the menu and wine list. Great service but pizza is over rated.

You can go look at my other reviews and see that I don't use many superlatives at all. EVO Pizza is the exception. It is hands down the best pizza I have ever had anywhere. My wife and I stopped here on day 1 of our Charleston trip and were treated to great pizza as always. The special attention to... More

EVO (Extra Virgin Oven) Pizzeria is the wood-fired dream of Matt McIntosh and Ricky Hacker. Matt and Ricky met while working in the illustrious kitchen at FIG in downtown Charleston in 2003. The pair spent the better part of a year forming the concept for a wood-fired pizza shop that would focus on local ingredients. In 2005 they flew the coop to start EVO. The first incarnation was a mobile wood-fired pizza oven - in other words, a fancy trailer - that they used for catering. Turns out, people really like fancy trailer pizza. It became apparent that the concept was ready for a brick & mortar restaurant, and they found a perfect home on East Montague Avenue in North Charleston, part of the up-and-coming Park Circle area. In 2007, EVO Pizzeria fired up its ovens for the public, and hasn't stopped since. We come to work at EVO every day to bring fun, delicious food and drink to our community. We source locally and regionally because we're proud to be here. We cook with love because we love to cook. And who doesn't love pizza?
