I'm sure to the rich folks passing through or retired here $17 a plate is fine. Sure it was buffet and the food was good, but it's just to hard on my wallet for me to return. Honestly if I had realized the price I wouldn't have stayed. Besides it was a buffet and I have a food allergy but... More

Just tried to eat there - got there a few minutes before closing but just wanted to grab a quick sandwich - overheard cook make a rude comment so we left - waitress tried to get us to stay but the comment made us not want that young man prepare anything for us!

The young man was working hard to get an order ready and was having a hard time. The comment was directed at the food and not at any person. We serve a lot of local folks that come in right at closing. We do not close before our closing time. We are sorry you choose not to stay. More

If you are looking for good country food, Aunt Sue's is a wonderful place to try. Both me and my wife were happy with our meals there and the portions were more than ample. The restaurant was very rustic with a country charm; don't expect any frills. Our waitress was attentive and courteous throughout the meal. We would definitely go... More

We've stopped here for lunch a couple of times; its good but pricey for sandwiches. Now we mainly stop just for ice cream while we're traveling to North Carolina to see family as it's about an hour away. They have a good variety of flavors to chose from, and it's a nice rest stop with a covered porch. Very relaxing!

We were driving by and had to stop. This place looked really cool and it turned out to be worth the stop. We didn't eat but will be stopping by next trip to eat.

We stop at Aunt Sue's whenever we are in the area. Sometimes we have a meal sometimes just ice cream. We have never been disappointed.

We've been to Aunt Sue's dozens of times over the years, but this was our first time for the seafood buffet, recommended by several family members. I called ahead. A young man said the buffet started at 5:00, the band would eat before starting, so we could expect them to perform around 5:30. We arrived at 5:00 to see only... More

From the moment we walked in to Aunt Sue's restaurant, we fell in love with the place and the people. Ed and Teresa, the owners, are truly amazing and welcome everyone with open arms. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and treat you like family. We have never been here without a great experience. If you... More

We ate there on a Friday evening for their Seafood buffet. The shrimp was still frozen solid in the middle. The catfish was kind of soggy. In general, just not a good meal. The people were very friendly and we had high hopes when we walked in. Maybe it was just an off night, but we paid a lot for... More
