We visited the Star with a couple of friends for Saturday lunch. The menu was not vast but there was a good choice on offer. The portions were not too large as can happen in some establishments, but all in all it was good value...More

The Star Inn is like an oasis of calm. The pub and dining areas are split into several sections, providing a feeling of calm and seclusion. Nicely decorated and comfortably warm (on the very cold evening I visited), it was great to have a seat...More

Eight adults, Saturday birthday event. Great menu, service and food. Told it was fine dining, but Yorkshire style which means decent portions. Had the Christmas turkey, plenty of meat and veg, superbly cooked. But had to make room for the 10/10 cheese cake. Sound local...More
