Excellent food! Good service. Quite busy on the day of our visit. Had a bit of a wait, grab a drink in the bar and relax. Our party all had the pork chop, sauerkraut and rec cabbage. Highly revommend!!

We had a nice meal here. We stopped in for lunch so I had the soup and salad. My hubby had the German plate. The atmosphere was unique and the service great. My lunch was delicious. My husband would have ordered something else.

This place is not to be missed. It has top notch service, incredible German food, delicious German beers from breweries we don't usually see here in the states, local wine, and a great atmosphere.

What is with the long line of people at this place? I am German and this is definitely not up to par (go to Fredericksburg, Texas for REAL German food). What part of Germany was this owner from, Detroit? The ridiculous wait could be streamlined...More

Travel to Hill City for express purpose of eating at the Alpine Inn. Hands down the best place in the hills for a sit down lunch or dinner. I have eaten there for the past 25 years and never gotten a bad meal or service....More
