Stopped in for Schnitzel and Hefeweizen and was not disappointed! Great location, just off the pedestrian bridge. Friendly staff and good food--- highly recommend.

Great food, friendly and prompt service, parking out front. Highly recommend this authentic German restaurant.
Great food, great atmosphere, must have potato cakes. Great service and recommendations. Good choice of drinks for all palettes
Fun atmosphere-great view out back deck area-good food-efficient service! We tried the sample platter and a side of kraut with two delicious beers. All was yummy!
Good beer selection and delicious pretzel. Would have been better if it came with a velveta, queso or beer cheese dip. Options were only mustard or a hunk of melted cheese in a plastic cup. The mac and cheese bites were also very good. There...are tvs to watch sports.More
This place far exceeded expectations! We tried the Sausage/Cheese Sauerkraut balls as an appetizer and were instantly hooked. Very filling but delicious - German Eggrolls! Main courses didn't disappoint. The Snitzel was delicious with a very healthy serving. I had the Veggie Spaetzel topped with...grilled zucchini/summer squash. Possibly the best I've ever eaten. The red cabbage wasn't too sweet (a common failure in German restaurants) and the Vinegar slaw fresh and delicious.More
Been wanting to bring my mom here for years, and today things finally worked out. The food was very good, the service was excellent, the prices were reasonable. If you like German food, this place is where you want to go in the Chattanooga area.
Just a local joint that is friendly and has that welcome feeling like “Cheers”. Rivers the bartender makes you feel welcomed. Don’t miss the pretzel! It is by far the best German pretzel we ever had. Hot, soft, yummy double. We enjoyed our beer and...pretzel experienceMore
Having spent my formative years in Germany I’m always looking for good German food. Our experience at brewhaus had some good reminders. We ordered the brewhaus sampler since someone else on here said to get the kraut balls and the sampler came with those, the...pretzel and brat sliders. The kraut balls were like sausage balls and were tasty. Sliders were a hit with the boys. The pretzel and different mustard options was good. We also ordered the pimento cheese and probably would pass it up in the future. Hubby said he could have made that his meal. Three of us got jaeger snitzels with spatzle and the fourth got the king Ludwig. The apple butter on the sandwich was a little too sweet for my son.More
Smaller inside than I thought, but they have plenty of outside seating. The food and service is absolutely on point. They have paired down the menu from the website, but still a good selection. We didn’t like the pretzel, it seemed overcooked, but the sausage,...schnitzel, spatzel and potato cakes were all incredible. Will definitely go back!More
My friend and I stopped by here for beer and football while our wives shopped. Rivers was an awesome dude and took care of us. He even remembered our names when we came back later in the day!
In Chattanooga celebrating our anniversary and my husband loves German food so we decided to give Brewhaus a try. Best decision we made... the Krautballs! Do it, just try them! Our service was excellent, we sat outside under the trees and it was a beautiful...evening. The prices were fair, but be forewarning they are offering a limited menu due to COVID. He has the Brewhaha with potato cakes and vinegar slaw. It was excellent. I had a flame grilled brat with kraut and horseradish mustard and potato salad. The brat was amazing, I wasn't a huge fan of the potato salad as it has a bitter flavor I didn't care for, but that may be a personal taste. Overall, we would return and would recommend others try this place out.More
Literally. The. Best. Soft. Pretzel. I've. Ever. Had. I love soft pretzels and I try them anywhere I go eat if they're on the menu. These pretzels are made by a local bakery and flash-fried at Brewhaus. The mustards and beer cheese are also amazing....The outside of the pretzel is fried to a wonderful light crisp and the inside is soft and warm and amazing. We HAVE to stop here every time we are in the 'Noog or for a special treat while traveling to/from Atlanta since it's on the way for us.More
We arrived at dinner-time for a family getaway. Opted for dinner right away instead of unpacking (good choice). Indoor and covered deck seating is available. Family shared a BrewHaHa (wurst and kraut plate), Wiener schnitzel (with spatzle and pommel frites), pretzel and mustard sampler. Large...portions. Tasty. Having lived in Germany when I was younger, I love good schnitzel when I can get it. And get it, I did. Only down-side currently (and I didn’t knock off points but just wanted you to be aware), is that they are not serving their full menu from the website. It is complete with items in each category (I.e. appetizers, main, salad, dessert, etc), just not all the items in each category from the full menu (I went with a pork schnitzel instead of a veal schnitzel). We will be back during our next trip to Chattanooga.More
We are use to authentic German food but with no other German places around so we come here. We aren’t huge fans of this place because of the German American style but it is good as long as you don’t want authentic German. I did...have the King Ludwig sandwich today and it’s probably the best thing I’ve had so far. It was super flavorful and I liked the breading on the schnitzel as it was more authentic than the breading on their jager. The beer choices are always excellent as well. I just wish they had a few more tastes of authentic German food mixed in with their “German American” food but it is good otherwise.More
