Sometimes you can feel how a good family can create great food/dining experience. The decor was amazing in how they could mix a few really nice Japanese items with stacked boxes of beer and it all looked like it was in the perfect place, a balance of nice and very comfortablel. Everyone's food was excellent, and most impressive was the... More

This family run restaurant in the Coolidge Park area of Chattanooga was highly recommended to us by a foodie friend, and it didn't disappoint. We were greeted by the brilliant smile of Chikako, wife of chef Yasushi Watanabe, and found the whole dining experience to be delightful. The sushi was ultra-fresh, his seared sea bass sushi special was a bite... More

Good location, although I can see it being a crowded area at times, but GREAT fresh sushi. The wasabi was nicely done, the restrooms were clean, the service was impeccable and at just the right speed. Plum wine was also excellent.

I travel a lot. Largest, most eclectic sushi menu I've seen. Hidden secret. I'll go out of my way to return. :) Great promos. Great ambience. It's telling me to type more.

I've tried nearly every sushi restaurant in the Chattanooga area, and Sushi Nabe is my favorite by far. I've tried numerous different specialty rolls, and they've all been fantastic. For this trip, I had the Mardi Gras roll, and it was delicious!

We have eaten here a few times. This is my wife's favorite place to eat. The sushi is fresh and the sake is great. Nice place for date or special occasion.

Shared two sushi boats with friends- rather basic ingredients (shrimp, crab sticks, salmon, tuna). Each piece was pre-treated with wasabi. Salmon had a smoked flavor. Both are not usual ways of preparing sushi. Service was friendly, but not particularly informed- probably a new hire with no experience at sushi restaurants.
