This is a good place to meet friends for casual food and drink. A bit noisy, TV is on a sports channel, etc. but food is a notch above standard bar fare, and the selection of drinks is great.

The food was average... we had to wait for nearly an hour for it on a Sunday after 1pm. Service was poor. It is probably a really great night spot but I can't say I will be back for lunch.

Visiting Clarksville and we wanted to go someplace for a beer and a bite to eat. Had heard good things about the Black Horse so in we went. We were told the wait was 40 minutes but it was only 20 minutes so had a nice wait (and beer) at the bar. Got seated, ordered the appetizer of pretzels and... More

Stopped in for dinner while staying on a business trip. Seated quickly with excellent service. Best pizza ever. Variety of beers and great history of place was explained by waitress. Will definitely go back on next trip to town. Parking is a little difficult due to being downtown and such a busy place but no complaints. A must visit when... More

Stopped here while we was in the old downtown area. It was packed so we went to the bar and had a couple of drinks. Good selection of beers. Staff was very friendly. And even though we didn't eat, the food coming by smelt great.

They brew their own beer which is excellent. The food is great. The atmosphere makes you feel like your in an old time speak easy.

We have eaten here numerous times. It is a pub -type atmosphere. Alot of fun to go with friends or as a couple. They have a lot of different beer to try. Our favorite food there is the pizza. I think it's the best I've ever tried . Sometimes it gets a little busy on the weekends and you have... More

It's the first place I that take everyone that visits here or is new to the area. There isn't anything on the menu that isn't wonderful. Their oven baked pizzas are great, try the Cajun pizza with Andouille. The beer cheese is legendary. The burgers are huge and made to order. And let's not forget, it's a microbrewery with something... More

Been here a few times with the same consistent experience. Pretty good food, good customer service, and not to bad on wait times. I was just hoping that it would be better, considering folks make a big deal out if this place. Unfortunately, this caliber of restaurant is as good as it gets in Clarksville.

I've been here a couple of times. Fantastic pizzas and beer cheese pretzels! I had a chicken burger with pimento cheese once that was yummy! The beer...meh. I've been served the wrong one twice (on 2 different occasions). No one in the groups I've been with have really raved about them. I get rustic chic, but I do think the... More
