I was expecting more. Frozen cod (It was good) , small portions of food. Beer was good. I would go back.

Fish and chips ordered by three people and all loved it. Tartar sauce is great, even if you don't like tartar sauce. Burgers are very good also.

McCreary's is a fun little Irish pub located in downtown Franklin. The inside is pretty small, so it can get crowded here. The food and service has always been very good. I highly recommend the fish and chips!

Poses as an Irish pub, but it is quite small with little atmosphere. Having said that, the food was very good and the staff very friendly. The menu is loyal to an Irish pub setting.

Downtown drinking holes can get really crowded and this place is my go-to when I just want to be around limited people and still have great beer and bar food. Fish & chips of course and black n tan is my favorite.

Have been there many times, generally we have a "To go" Fish and Chips, last night we ordered the same with complete disappointment, the fish was horrible, as it was way over cooked, came out so hard we could not eat it, we included their egg rolls as appetizers, again, way over cooked to the point we trashed them when... We had given up on McCreary's recently. A change in ownership or some other reason lead to several bad experiences. After about a year, we gave it another try. BAM! Back from brink and McCreary's is like we remembered. We are back and will be often.

We were passing through Franklin and checked TripAdvisor for a good local place to eat and this seemed right down our street. Bangers and mash, fish and chips, shepherds pie... it looked great. We ordered fish and chips for my Nashvillian wife and I thought I'd try the Shepherd's Pie as it's a rare menu item in Tennessee. The server... More

Wonderful little eatery on Main St. Service was outstanding. Had a hard time deciding on the beer & the waiter brought me some samples. Good and cold. I had the Dublin Pot Pie & hubby had the Shepherds Pie, both served with Irish Soda bread!! Awesome!! I will definitely go back again.
