Needed gas and seen mouthwatering BBQ signs though I would grab a bite to eat and fuel up at same time. Got pulled pork sandwich combo my sandwich was dripping with sauce so messy I could not hardly pick it up could not tell if it was smoked or not way to much sauce. Tried the slaw it was no... More

If you need gas, OK you're here. The place has zero atmosphere for having a relaxing enjoyable meal. You can order from a lmited menu and sit at the one or two tables in the middle of people paying for gas or picking up packaged foods in a local grocery style food mart.

Definitely a great deal on some Tennessee BBQ. And the employees are all really nice and quick with your food. But definitely a take-out place.

Located right off of the 1st exit of Interstate 40 with services after crossing the NC State Line, we stopped in for lunch on a Sunday Afternoon. It is a stretch to call this a restaurant. This is more of a general store with great Bar-b-Que and some tables where to enjoy your meal. You order your food at a... More

We where headed to go rafting this morning. It was raining and nasty but we wanted to make sure we where we needed to be. We stopped here because it was the closest place we could find, I was very unsure if we should even try it. We did and the breakfast was amazing. My family really enjoyed the food... More

Delicious! Crazy that this location is basically the mini-mart to a gas station, but don't let that turn you away! Because it is the BEST tasting BBQ!!! Order inside, eat at picnic tables outside - absolutely delicious lunch before heading out to white water rafting at Smoky Mountain Outdoors.

Hands down the BEST biscuits and gravy I've ever eaten. My husband got an egg and bacon sandwich on toast, and he said it was delicious. The staff is just a little slow to take an order, but we can all understand being busy. The food is worth the wait.

I stopped here with my son on Wednesday for a quick bite before we went for a hike. The place really isn't a restaurant - it's more of a gas station with a grill. There are a few tables crammed inside and several more picnic tables out on the deck. The food is OK. I would say everything is slightly... More

Both the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were delicious. I always prefer pulled pork over brisket but this time brisket was the winner. Like most of the best BBQ in the US, it came from a little unassuming place, tucked into the gas station. If you are rafting on the pigeon river, you should definitely stop here!
