This little convenience shop is perfect for picking up water/beer or even coffee....the lady (I'm guessing owner) is very friendly and has two cute little rescue dogs in the shop- bonus! I believe there's an atm here as well.

The owners could not have been more accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast at the Hitching Post. Made to order and it was excellent. It is like going back in time. The wood stove was cooking and you can look for days in the store.

This place has a lot for a small, out of the way store. Lamp oil, a pad to go under your sleeping bag, fried egg sandwiches, saddles and sweet potatoes to take back and roast on the campfire.
