Dropped in just after Christmas and there were great sale offers on Irish crafts and quirky books. No pressure to buy that you get in a lot of shops. We had pre-lunch coffee and cakes. Massive helpings. I opted for christmas pudding and custard which was delicious. We were a mixed group of teens and parents and all enjoyed the... More

Normally we go here for lunch, but today it was for dessert. We had a tea and coffee with a doorstep chunk of good Coffee Cake, and a Lemon Meringue pie cupcake. All delicious and sweet and just what the doctor ordered. Evelyn is the best waitress - so friendly and capable, and put us right up at the top... More

The views across to the Ballycotton lighthouse from the terraced restaurant are fabulous. My hubby had the fish and chips and I had the fish pie, they were beautifully cooked and just the right size of portions. Staff are friendly and efficient and you never feel rushed.

Stopped here with the family. Expensive touristy "oirish" gift shop. Cafe is great. Very bright and modern. Great views. Beautiful deserts and pastries. Everything tasted like........more! We really enjoyed our stop here.

If the weather is not great this is a good spot to head for. Shopping, food, coffee and artist workshops are available here. Be sure to visit Phil Davis artist in residence-downstairs. Lots of lovely paintings, especially bird art. Interesting artist to talk to. He has been birdwatching for years.

The Kilkenny cafe offers a cafe as well as meals in its Terrace cafe. It is all table service so no queuing We enjoyed our two visits there this week. The retail department is one of ornaments gifts and cloths. These are all first class items and beautifully laid out

While somewhat remote, the views of Ballycotton lighthouse are amazing from the conservatory in the cafe. The local artisans shops on site are also interesting to visit.
