As much as I like the food, I go here all the time. Some of the staff need to be retrained. You grab your own menus, you are clearly seen but nobody comes over for ages. (We are never there when it's mad busy) waiter/waitress are flat. Although I generally have no problem with the food no body ever checks... More

Always loved coming here and always enjoyed the food. Chicken and veg always cooked to perfection as its my favourite dinner there. One of my favourite places as it holds so many good memories. Keep up the good work .

Called in here with the family last Sunday after playing a rugby match. And while sore from the physical encounter this place put a huge smile on my face. Nothing to say but great service. 5* Great food and a great selection. 5*. Will be back here for sure. Top marks all round.

I've eaten here several times & I've never been disappointed. Each time I visited I ordered something different, each dish as nice as the last. Really tasty pub grub delivered well!

Stopped off here for some lunch before heading home from our weekend away in Balbriggan. We were greeted as soon as we walked in & sat down at our table. The whole place was near enough empty, so we got it all to ourselves (which we love!) I had the chicken goujons & my boyfriend had battered cod, both were... More

The Balrothery Inn is a no nonsense really decent good pub grub dining experience, it's a mid range priced menu with almost everyday specials, I go here quite regularly and have never been disappointed , the staff are lovely and service is tip top, however it's a busy place mid afternoon at the weekends so be prepared to wait just that... Had a family meal which was a great experience, staff are fantastic, beautiful food, probably a bit too much to be honest as I couldn't finish it and I can eat, very reasonably priced. The atmosphere of the Inn is great, we were in the lounge but have also been in the bar and you are made feel welcome either... More
