We spent a lovely Sunday lunch on the patio of the Queens. The sun shone and the service was excellent. We didn't have to move an inch and enjoyed home cooked food and really great Eton mess. A fantastic place to people watch and soak up the sun!

I won't take away from thev service and food because of the loo but,,,,,,Toilets need more service and attention. Only area to bring the establishment DOWN. Management please be... More

We went as Gran, Granda, daughter, six-month old granddaughter and dog. We sat in the outdoor seats at the front. Told we couldn't have the dog there. No problem -we would leave the dog in the car across the road. Then we were told we couldn't have the baby's buggy there - the waiter was very polite but mumbled something... More

Came here by chance during my stay in Dublin after visiting the obelisk at Killiney. I had the best steak here for a long time (Angus filet). You can "cook" it yourself on a hot stone, which was an awesome experience! In addition, the service was perfect. Very friendly and attentive personnel. Combined with the cosy atmosphere it is a... We've eaten here a few times and it was consistently good. It's a little touristy due to being next to the Dalkey Castle, but that also adds to the atmosphere. The outside patio seating is really nice and great for people watching and enjoying the sun. The staff were also friendly. We would rank this as our second favorite restaurant... More

I went here last Friday with a friend. We ate from the main pub menu as opposed to the Steakroom. The pub felt to me to be very much set up for food only and not for just a relaxing drink. I found the acoustics to be very bad, could hardly hear my friend speaking and the food was merely... More

Dalkey is a glorious seaside town set in south Dublin. I landed here on a beautiful midweek sunny day and stopped for coffee in the Queens.I could have stayed all day on the sun drenched beer garden but my aim was to climb Killiney head for the view of the Bay. the views were amazing and its vert peaceful along... We stopped here for lunch after heading south from Dublin, on the recommendation of an Irish friend. Dalkey itself is a very quaint town and The Queen's is historic. There were several gluten free options and the waitstaff was very helpful and checked with the kitchen for me when I had questions. I was able to have a bowl of... More
