The brick house really has the venue and ambience to rival all others. One must request a first floor window seat. Sip a lovely vino from a rather pleasant list and dine as you languish the harbour lights view. It is difficult to be concerned re food as the mood is key. Nonetheless the bites are adequate and enjoyable. Whilst... More

Arrived here around 2.45. Took a seat outside where there is a lovely view of the Harbour. A waitress arrived straight away and handed us menus. a la carte and the lunchtime Tapas menu. We opted for the Tapas menu 3 dishes for 15 euro. We ordered a mixture of baby ribs, bravatas, garlic bread, mixed olives. All delicious, we... More

Spur of the moment decision to drive out to skerries and thought this place looked nice. Lovely place and staff very welcoming and the menu appeared very appetising. That's were it stopped! Ordered 3 tapas each, patatas brava, garlic mushroom, tomato bruschetta, prawns, mini meatball, wings. Our food arrived within 5 minutes of ordering and we were out of the... More

Decided to dine here again (2nd) time. We ordered a bottle of white wine and the catch of the day which was hake. It was accompanied by a tapenade mash and some sort of orange sauce and asparagus. The rectangle plate had the mash with the hake on top on the LHS then 2 lines of sauce and 2 asparagus... More

What else do I need to say...?! I love their tapas menu. We eat here very regularly and have never been served a dish we did not like. They serve the best fish and chips in Dublin and I'd say the same for the steaks and the burger. Service is consistently great. The setting couldn't be better, looking out on... More

Went to the trouble of booking a particular table in advance of our visit, which wasn't a problem at the time. Arrived to be told our choice of table was gone and it wasn't their policy to reserve selective tables. With Blue Bar and Stoops either side, their poor level of customer service will see me visiting these restaurants more... More

Having passed the Brick House so many time in favour of Blue Bar we decided to try it last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Myself and my husband had the rib eye steak which was nice. Steak a bit tough but tasty and the tomatoes that accompanied it were divine!... More
